· Collaborated with Mr. Rhodes in his culturally, racially, socioeconomically diverse 11 Regents and College Preparatory classes.
· Created and taught two unit plans embracing 21st century learning skills and young adult literature in accordance with New York State Curriculum and Common Core Standards.
· Created and taught an inquiry based unit using Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America, including current events, real estate sales, film clips, poetry and various statistics.
· Designed and taught a personally and societal reflective unit using The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn as well as historical texts, an abridged version, artwork, music, and non-fiction texts.
